Paddle Sports is looking forward to showing you

Anacapa Island by Kayak!
Trip Confirmation

Kayaking is the most spectacular way to view and explore what has been termed “California’s Galapagos Islands”. The Santa Barbara Channel is rich with marine life: sea lions and dolphins abound.  There is even the chance of spotting migrating whales in the spring or fall.

Before venturing out on kayaks, Paddle Sports’ guides will show you basic kayaking skills with which to explore Anacapa Island’s exciting coastline.  Sea caves are plentiful and we will venture inside the caves as conditions permit.  We will be paddling easy to use, fun, very stable, and self-draining Ocean Kayak Sit-on-Tops.  Also provided are paddles, life vests, paddling jackets, long john wetsuits, and helmets to provide added warmth and comfort.

We will be loading our kayaks off of a ladder at East Landing Cove. Please be prepared to change into kayaking gear upon arrival at Anapca Island. You will want to have a small snack with you while kayaking. Depending on conditions we might have lunch on a beach.

Gear you are responsible to bring for a one-day trip:

__ Sack lunch and beverages                                          __ Sunglasses

__ Swim Suit (wear under your clothes)                         __ Safety strap for glasses
