Most Anacapa Island trips begin by meeting at the ferry (Island Packers) in the vanguardOxnard Harbor on the morning of your trip. You will meet your guide here and load the ferry the Vanguard.

The channel crossing takes a little less than an hour depending on the sea conditions and wildlife we encounter along the way. Santa Barbara Channel waters are rich with marine life -- dolphins and sea lions abound. In the spring and fall, migrating whales are frequently spotted during our crossing to the island.
