Beginner:
These events are fun and easy for people of all ages. We do ask that you are comfortable paddling several miles and you must know how to swim. Your guide/s will show you kayaking basics and how to re-enter your kayak prior to getting on the water.

Our Guides:
Paddle Sports employs and trains friendly outdoor professionals that specialize in leading and teaching groups of kayakers with little or no experience.

Kids:
We can accomodate all ages over 8 years old. Children under 12 will be in kayaks with an adult (parent/guardian). Keep in mind the younger the child is, the more work you as a parent/guardian will have to do. We recomend waiting until the child is 12 before taking them on a kayaking trip to the islands.

3.5-7
Cost:
$290*

hike
Get away from every day life a little longer! In addition to multiple days of kayaking tours, self-led hikes and snorkeling, opportunities abound. Numerous short hikes leave right from the campsite.

The most spectacular is the evening hike to Cavern Point to enjoy the sunset over the Santa Barbara Channel!

How the camping works:

Customize your camping trip...

Step 1: Pick a departure date from the list of Caves and Coves tours. A multi-day trip is built upon a caves and coves day trip.

Step 2: After registering and giving us some info, you will be asked to choose your return date and time. If you do not see the date you want, you will need to call, sorry this will require us to call and make sure we can get you home at the desired time.

Step 3: Pick what you want to do. You are paying for one day of kayaking just by signing up, we only bill you for what you want to do. Add a second day of kayaking, $100 more. Third day just hiking, no more money needed, just enjoy yourself and don't miss the ferry!

Step 4: Read the confirmation email. It has some great recipes for Clam Chowder.
